Our results in non-linear magnetooptics

Second Harmonic Generation (SHG)

Dependence of the SHG reflectivity for pin-pout polarization in transverse MO configuration versus the azimuth angle for two opposite values of the magnetic field for three multilayers Au(15 ML)/Co(15 ML)/Au(15ML) grown on different vicinal buffer layers:

(a) Cu(2ML, 1001C)/Si(1 1 1) 2° off,

(b) Cu(2ML, 1001C)/Si(1 1 1) 6° off,

(c) Cu(4 ML, 2001C)/Si(1 1 1) 6° off.

Magnetization-induced Second Harmonic Generation (MSHG)

 

 

Azimuthal dependence of the MSHG reflectivity for different polarization combinations of the Al2O3/Mo/Co/Au sample. Multiplication factor for the corresponding data of intensity signal for the Pin-Pout polarization combination are indicated.
