Essentially, yes, although Bohr arrived at his n by using a lot of
inapplicable ideas; he pictured the electrons orbiting the nucleus like
miniature planets, which, as we've told you ad nauseum, just doesn't
happen. (It's really amazing how productive this picture is, considering that
it's completely inaccurate.) Bohr's n was also tied up with angular momentum, an
association it's lost in modern quantum mechanics.
